BioTechnology Technician

So, for all of you brokebacks who still read this, here is an update of things I can remember which are of importance.

First and foremost, I got into Mohawk! Not too hard of a feat I must admit, but the wait for the acceptance letter is now over. Now I can stop wondering if I did something wrong in my application or crap like that.
I applied for three courses: Chemical Engineering Technology, Biotechnical Technology Technician, and Utilities Systems Operator. As you may have guessed already from the title, I chose BioTech.

I'm working part-time now at Protocol, more time to be relaxing all coolin upside the school. Well, not upside the school yet, still gotta wait till September for that. ;)
Being part time has reminded me of how much I truly hate working there, but it's also reminded me of how small my paycheques used to be. Getting a $300 paycheque could be large for some people; but compared to a $1200 one it is no big deal. Luckily my credit card is paid off, and I'm got this months bus pass, I'm surviving.

Last nights party was pretty good. It started off with Chris, Dan, and I making a cake for Billy (it's his birthday today). We invited Virginia (Billy's woman) to surprise him.
Now, before I detail this cake we made, I must point out the fact that this was the first cake any of us had made... Ever!
Alright, all the prep went good, making the cake goo, that kind of stuff. Since Chris has such a high tech kitchen we were able to time everything to perfection! So after the goo was poured into the pans, there was a heft remainder left, so you can imagine what happened with that.
Fast forward about 36 minutes...
So we take out the two layers of cake, that's right... TWO LAYERS! And we let it cool for a while, after that Dan finally showed up, so we get to icing that beast.
This is where it all goes wrong.
The top of the cake is dam soft and apparently the icing was too sticky for it or something, for Dan starts tearing it up with the slightest of moves. Then I started to help in any way I could, I did one side with no tears, then tried to fix Dan's and I open up a huge crater in the top
Then I just filled it up with more icing. Anywho, I did the sides, ran out of icing, so a little of the side was still bare.
Now, the crowning acheivement! We decided to put something ontop of the cake, and decided upon a capital B... for Billy. Anywho, the B ended up looking like a huge piece of shit from the side, but I liked it. Probably because I was the one who made the B, but from the top, it looked like a B.
Anywho, Billy eventually arrives, sees Vee, eats cake. Everyone who drinks is already pleasantly wasted by that point. The rest of the night shall not be communicated via blog, for this blog cannot convey the awesomeness which was Saturday Night!

Point of the story; Even though I don't blog much anymore, it doesn't mean nothing is happening, it just means that I am either too active, or too bored to blog.
This has been another lucky time when I am caught in the middle, and motivated enough to type relatively comprehensible words into a blog.
